ABOUT US

The beginning of our company the establishment dates back to 1931. The company was founded in Loužnice near Železný Brod by František Tom after graduating from the glass school in Železný Brod, which was the first of its kind in the Czech Republic.

 

The company soon developed into a leading manufacturer of glass processing in Železný Brod. Before it was nationalized in 1948, the company had more than 130 employees.

 

After decades of involuntary stagnation, when the Czech Republic was under the control of the Communist Party (1948-1989), the glassworks was reopened by Mr. Vladimír Tom and his wife Dana in 1990.

 

At present, the company is one of the largest producers of handmade cut crystal in the Czech Republic, and at the same time has its registered trademark "Tom Bohemia Crystal", which has become known all over the world.

 

From beginning of 2017 we are started to label our products with laser mark which protects against the detection of counterfeits. The laser mark comes with certificate of authenticity.
